* Wire hangers are difficult to recycle for melt down due to the plastic coating applied to prevent rust from forming on the hanger.

* It takes over 100 years for a wire clothing hanger to break down in a landfill.

* The cost of wire clothing hangers has more than doubled since 2008.

* By returning your unused wire hangers to us for recycling, you help us reduce our supply cost and this translates ultimately into keeping our dry cleaning and laundry prices as low as possible.

We recycle every wire shirt hanger, paper covered cape hanger, and foam covered dress/blouse hanger that you return to us in good condition. Unfortunately, we are not able to recycle the pant strut hangers because the glue that holds the pant on the hanger degrades after the hanger is used more than once.
