Does Dry Cleaning Kill Bed Bugs ?
Yes! Dry Cleaning will effectively kill bed bugs.
Hot water washing also is an effective method for killing bed bugs as long as the water temperature reaches a minimum of 120 degrees F constantly for 20 minutes.
Extreme heat or cold temperatures have proven to be an effective method of killing bed bugs without using chemicals. For small items that can’t be safely washed or dry cleaned you might be able to put them in a clothes dryer on medium high or high heat for 20 minutes. In the winter you may have success putting infested items such as mattresses outside for several hours if the temperature is below 25 degrees F.

April Is Autism Awareness Month
Dry Clean City of Vestavia Hills has made a corporate donation to the Autism Society of Alabama to support this worthwhile cause.
Ten years ago 1 in 10,000 individuals were affected by Autism, today CDC reports that number has increased to 1 in 110 individuals. Have you or someone you know been affected by Autism?
April is Autism Awareness month and you can support the cause by participating in the Walk for Autism Saturday , April 30th at Regions Park in Hoover. There will be a 2 mile fun walk, crafts and games for the kids, a resource fair, and yummy food vendors. All proceeds will benefit the mission and projects of the Autism Society of Alabama.
